Seasonal Flu Shots Linked to Increased Risk of H1N1

by Marilyn Zink

A news report by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporaton CBC) News states that people who have received the seasonal flu shot are at an increased risk of getting H1N1 virus, also known as the Swine Flu.

A series of Candian studies done in British Columbia, Quebec and Ontario appear to suggest that people who got the flu shot last year are twice as likely to get the Swine Flu as those who didn’t get the shot.

The lead authors are Dr. Danuta Skowronski of the Briths Columbia Centre for Disease Control and Dr. Gaston De Serres of Laval University in Quebec. A scientific paper has been sent to a journal for publication, so the authors are limited on what they can say until the study is published.

Though the study hasn’t been published, the news is already spreading like forest fires. The Public Health Agency of Canada is aware of it and so is the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

Now the World Health Organization is worried about it, thinking it will deter some from getting their usual flu shot.

A chief microbiologist at Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital says there is a crying need for a randomized, controlled study on vaccines.

What this says to me is that the experts are unsure what to do; push the Swine Flu vaccine and ignore the seasonal flu vaccine? push both vaccines?

It also shows that vaccines weaken the immune system. Vaccines taken year after year further weaken the immune system and deplete the body’s natural healing resources.
