Herb Gardening Course - April 24
Held at Green Thumb Garden Centre in North Nanaimo from 1-3:30 p.m. Learn how to grow an herb garden sanctuary with many types of herbs such as; culinary, medicinal, flowering and fragrance herbs, herbs for groundcover and rock gardens, shade herbs, drought tolerant herbs and more. Get harvesting tips, ideas on how to use herbs and more. Include handouts. Cost is $24.95.

Indian Head Massage and Kansa Vatki Foot Massage are both 5000 year old traditional ayurveda treatments that help to balance the body doshas by increasing the flow of prana energy in the body.
Kansa Vatki Foot Massage includes balancing the foot chakras and working on marma points with a 3 metal bowl and ghee.
Indian head Massage involves learning unique techniques that are delivered from the mid back, shoulders, arms, neck head face and ears. We also address the upper body chakras to complete the treatment.
These treatments are very effective done as individual treatments and are welcome additons to many other treatments such as; reflexology, swedish massage or simply the combination of these two treatmetns themselves.

Moss St. Saturdays 10-2 p.m.,
Government Street Market Sunday from 11-4 p.m.,
James Bay, Saturdays from 9-3 p.m.,
Metchosin Farmers Market, 4450 Happy Valley Road, Sundays 11 to 2 p.m.
Esquimalt Community Market Wednesdays from 5-8 p.m. near the municipal hall and library.
The Nanaimo Downtown Farmers Market has been running for years at the Pioneer Waterfront Plaza on Front St. on Fridays from 10- 2 p.m.
The Bowen Road Farmers’ Market started last year and runs Wednesdays from 4-7 p.m. on Bowen Road.
The Nanaimo North Market is Saturday from 9-1 p.m. at the Rutherford Mall (Nanaimo North Town Centre) parking lot (rear entrance).
Cedar Farmers’ Market which runs Sundays from 10-2 p.m. in front of the Crow and Gate pub on Yellow Point Rd.
Duncan Farmers’ Market runs Saturdays 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in downtown Duncan City Square.www.marketinthesquare.net
